Copyright and Licensing
The Central European Academy holds the publishing rights for publications published by Central European Academic Publishing, including the Central European Academy Law Review.
Unless otherwise not concluded in the copyright agreement between the author and the publisher, the copyright is transferred to the Central European Academy when and on the condition that the CEA accepts the material for publishing purposes. The copyright agreement is subject to Hungarian Copyright Law.
Holding or controlling the copyright, the CEA intends to use one of the following CC licenses: CC-BY-ND, CC-BY-ND-NC, to embed or display the relevant CC mark in the manuscripts. From 2023 the CC license applied is CC-BY-ND-NC.
In the case of CC-BY-ND-NC
Reading, printing and downloading are allowed, so as sharing, uploading or distributing the work: e.g. repository or social networking site. The translation is not allowed, except in the case when the CEA grants a special right. This license allows re-users to copy and distribute the material in any medium or format in unadapted form only, and only so long as attribution is given to the creator.
